iEAD without EAD receipt ? Please help

Is it possible to get iEAD without having EAD receipt(lost in mail)
Can I show void check with receipt number(not so legible)?

Can I apply for EAD again now to just get a receipt this time?Is it OK to have 2 EAD applications filed?

My current EAD expires in May.

Check receipt number online. If found valid for I765, print that out as proof of receipt notice...
 
Will it work?

The online status will not have my name on it. So, how do I convince them?
I will be in trouble if I don't get iEAD after 90 days as my EAD will expire soon after that in May.
 
called INS

I have called INS again today. The IIO said they can't issue receipt notice again becz they don't keep a duplicate.
He said If I apply for EAD again, it will complicate the issue.

So, It looks like I have to try my luck in getting 485 approval or EAD approval by middle of May.

If the receipt number is right, they can check your credentials. Why are you hesitant? are you trying to rip off from somebody else's or fictious receipt number. Go and try...
