I tried to file my 3rd EAD online today ...

when I enter my middle name .... XXXXXX
all upper case alphabetic characters ..... it says

ERROR: The applicant's middle name field must contain valid alphabetic characters such as upper and lower case letters, periods, dashes, commas, and the U.S. pound symbol(#).

hmm..... it suks ...... big time ...
I have given NO GC till now nearly 21 months ...
Now, I can't keep my name either ... ? %#^%@^%&#!@!$%%&^

did my 3rd iEAD about one month past. could not get my credit card payment
through (try 2 cards, all with error message). had to use debit card and could not open the PDF application file at last.

AP supporting documents

Hey Guys...
Since you recently went throught the renewal process.

1) Can you pl. share the supporting documents required for filing AP renewal.

2) My wife is a dependent applicant on my 485 case. She is not working.
Earlier I had her EAD. Is it necessary to maintain EAD renewals for her. She will not be using it. Is she okay (status wise..with just her 485 receipt notice )

Thanks

Sorry - don't know about docs needed ...

Yes -- she does not need an EAD if she doesn't work.
Status is OK - she is an AOS applicant ( pending 485 ) -- its legal for her to stay

Maybe its a better to have her EADs up-to-date. That way if some opportunity comes along for her to work, she will be available immediately ... otherwise she'll have to wait till her EAD gets approved ( 2-3 months ).

Thanks !

Thanks #Max2k1

Thanks Man....

Can anybody pl. share, what supporting docs are required for filing AP renewal..

The new fee is $165 (since 4/30/2004).
Only two (2) photos are needed according to the instructions on the form.

Docs

Here's what my lawyer applied with last month for AP

1. Check $110. PS. That amount has since increased.
2. Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney (Form G-28)
3. Application for Travel Document (FormI-131) with two photgraphs.
4. Letter from my requesting Advance Parole.
5. Copy of current Authorization for Parole of an Alien into the United States, Valid until July 11, 2004.
6. Copy of Receipt Notice evidencing Application for Adjustment of Status to lawful permanent residence currently pending with INS office (LIN#)
7. Copy of identity page of my passport.

This is my second AP document and have not gotten approved yet. But the lawyer had applied with similar details last time that got approved in 35 days.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
