IEAD shock

I applied for my EAD 4.5 months back. Current EAD expires in 30 days. Took an appointment and went for IEAD. I was told "your EAD is valid for one more month. Can't give IEAD now. Come back in 1 month".

Can they do this to me. I plan on appearing again 20 days from now...10days before expiration.

Gurus pls suggest.

Nothing to worry!!!!!

This is very common answer, you just go a week before the expiration date, they will isssue without furthur questions, this suggestion with personal experience!

Normally INS has to issue an interim EAD if it is more than 90 days after filing. This is by law!

Hi Want GC Soon! I have a question: As you can see I was a able to complete my FP&Biometrics 71 days later, and now I do not know if I will be able to receive my EAD renewal based on (c)(9) within 90 days. Is 91st day is the day after ND or is it after RD? I'll appreciate you reply if you know the answer.
