iEAD Local office in NJ

Hi ,
I have to do the same. My GC filing is for Denver ..but currently residing in New jersey. Planning to apply for iEAD this week.
These are the documents i will be taking with me :
copy of Receipt notice I485 , I765 , I 140 and HIB documents
copy of Pasport , drivers license .
copy of marriage certificate
Fillup for I765 (we need to fill this again).
I am still trying to collect information ...don't know if we need to fix up an appointment before going.

Please update ur experience for iEAD at Newark. How it went etc.
Did they check if you got RFE.
My case details. I got a RFE for EAD and i have to go for iEAD soon at newark...heard that 90 day clock resets of RFE issued...so very much anxiety going on...

Hello Friends
It looks to me that all of you who are taking part in this forum are already in USA. And another thing I noted was that I could not find anybody with my profession. I am a nurse and I am in India. My case is different from what I read from the forum. My GC processing started some time in February 2002. My future employer’s attorney is handling my case. They did not give any details like RD, ND, EAC, EAD and what not. Last November i.e. after about 9 months after I signed with them, I received a copy of a letter that the attorney received from NVC requesting them to pay the NVC fees. And that once they (NVC) receives the fees they would send visa packet 3. According to the letter my MDR No is MDR2002811010. Since that letter I have not received anything so far. As per the above-mentioned details could anyone tell me what could be my status? Has my case approved by BCIS? Do they send papers to NVC without approving the case? Why NVC is taking such a lot of time to send me packet 3? The attorney says that they paid the fees some time in January 03.
I have no way to check my status on – line because BCIS status checks page (link from Mr. Khanna’s web site) is not accessible from this part of the world. I do not know how to check NVC status. If any body has an answer to miseries kindly do help me out.
If anybody could check my status on-line on behalf of me and let me know of it I would very much appreciate it.

Horrible experiance at Newark:
First visit:
July 18th: I was there at 7:45 AM. There was a huge line ...and the security/INS employess told me they have already made the cut of for today and i have to come another day. I was told that newark has a limited number of walk in's (rumored to be 400) and it is on a first come fist serve basis. The security there said it will be safe if you come in by 6:00 AM.
Second Visit: July 21st.
I was there by 5:45 AM . There was atleast around 100 people who had already come before me. Stood in the line and in the rain (It rained and all of us had to be there stay put ... reminded me of th consulate in chennai ) ...and finally INS opens up and at 8:30 told us ... they cannot take and iEAD cases today as the floor has ben flooded and we have to come another day.
It was horrible as each time i have to go to Newark i had to take a day off ... i have to go again for the third time. There is no phone number for you to check and verify ...and also the people over there said they will not take appointments for iEAD.

FYI.
I was able to get my iEAD from Newark.
The documents that where required where
Passport , Original EAD and I 485 documents .
Make sure you be there atleast at 6:00 AM .... there is a limited number (400 i was told) of walkins per day .... and you can easily be asked to come another day.

-------- one can not check NVC status online, one needs to call up NVC with case # like your EAC# or WAC# I don’t know your service center, ask your lawyer to send you receipt or approval # from the service center or receipt of the approval copy
