I followed some of the suggestions that people posted in this board. I got to the building around 2:30 a.m. in the morning. There was about 100 persons already line up. By 6:00 a.m. we were line up to enter. I reached the main lobby at 7:00 a.m. I entered the room 1001 and waited in line to be attended by an IIO. He gave me a “green” ticket and told me to wait to be called.
Around 11:00 a.m. finally, a nice IIO lady called me. She asked me for the first name of each my parents, my complete name and the following four documents: a complete FILLED I-765 application, the ORIGINAL receipt for the pending I-765 application. A form of identification (Driver license, California I.D., Passport, etc.) and a COPY of the I-140 approval receipt notice. She received the documents and told me to wait to be called in 10 minutes (actually was 45 minutes) after which I was called and she directed me to the basement where finally around 12:30 got my iEAD valid for eight months.
Note: You could park your car at the Mobil gas station in the corner of North Alameda and Temple Street. It is seven bucks but it is worth it because it is the closest open parking that early in the morning
