iEAD in NY state

Hi

Anybody has experience with iEAD in New York. Do they issuse iEAD. If so please post where to go, what to take , what days and what times are better. My RD for EAD renewal is last week of November'2003

If they dont issue can i go any other center ? Please post the details

call the service center and ask for which office you need to go to
Earliest is on the 91st day of your I-765 receipt date.
take I-765 notice original , and copy of I-485 notice , your original EAD card ...and passport
If you're going to NY city, try to reach as early as possible. I was (mis)informed to go there the previous night..but reach around 5am( that worked for me in Jan )
You get to go in by 7am..They retained the original receipt for I-765 & also my prev EAD card..so make copies beforehand..submit it to the grumpies there, and wait for 3-6 hours and you'll walk out with an unimpressive & cheap looking plastic card,but that'll keep you in business.

Thanks for your response. I live in White Plains, NY. So do you know which INS center , i can go to.
Also. Please let me know do i have to take a filled-in 765 form , photos and do i have to pay the fee again

And i have only the copy of the 765 renewal receipt. I never received receipt. Only the attorney received it and he faxed me the copy and he also faxed me the I-140 approval copy. Are these copies enough?

I'm positive it's going to be the Fed Plaza in NY city...call the 800 number and confirm though
Have the attorney fedex the original to you..they do not accept photocopies,i've heard..better not to take any chances..you don't need photos,and there's no fee or any payment.
Make sure you have a copy of your I-485 ( not I-140 )

Thanks , for the reply. I have the original 485 receipt. But for EAD renewal only , attorney got the receipt and he faxed it to me. I will ask him to send the original immediately
