Any feedback on whether IEAD is being issued for concurrent filers for whom 90 days have elapsed since filing of i140, i485, AP and EAD from the Dallas office.
Just wanted to take a chance at getting an iEAD as my wife has just lost her job (secondary applicant) and was wondering that the iEAD may help her in her job search.......

RD 03/28/03
ND 03/30/03

Can you give some details...

SMGC can you give some more information on your case, was is "concurrent" filing and how long ago did you appear for it.

Also how much time had elaspsed since you had applied for your I765, 485 after which you went for your iEAD. Looking forward to hear from you.

ya mine is concurrent filing ... went after 94 days of RD ...
i went to INS center at 5.15 am and was done by 9.00
they just asked me for 765, 485 receipts and some photo ID
no need to even carry photos and 120 $ as advised by
my lawyer ...

hope this helps !!

Thank you

Thanks for your response SammyGC, Planning to go on 07/13 will post the results of my experience.

What was the $120 fee for? What is the mode of payment?

Hi global_family,

I did it a couple weeks ago in Tampa. I'm a C-9 too, and the date is the I-765 date (which as C-9, is the same for all your filings). Dallas should be the same as all other offices.
No walk-ins any longer. You MUST file for an appointment, usually granted within a week or two. I was asked to file a new I-765 form, along with the appointment request, but don't have to pay the fee ($120) because you already paid when filed the original I-765. Same apply to photos.
The appointment letter will tell you what you need to bring with you, and should be very simple. You will leave with your iEAD valid for 240 days.
You will get an EAD faster, but for a shorter time; for the same price.
On our way out BCIS officers stressed the importance of filing soon for a new EAD, since the processing times are ranging around 150-180 days.
