IEAD and RFE

Responded the EAD RFE 3 weeks back, but still the AVM says that INS had send a RFE 1 month back.

Does the AVM or the online status changes once you submit the RFE response.??

Normally how much time does it take for the EAD RFE to get through the process.??

Is it true that local INS offices have stopped issuing IEAD ????

RFE was regarding, I-140 document. So my lawyer send a copy of it with the response. My Receipt date is March 12th. Got RFE on May 5th. Responded back on May 16th. Original EAD expires on July 12th. I am worried whether i will get the renewal before that.

can u give more details about the RFE ? What is it that INS wanted re: I140? The I765 instructions says nothing about I140 [exception cud be for concurrent filers ]
 
My Service Center is NSC. And the RFE said " please submit your I-140 Reference Number or a copy of ur I-140 approval.
I am not concurrent filer. Actually my company got merged with another company and they had filed a Amendment I-140 which got approved in Feb.
