I -485 approved

I wanted to share the happy news with every one

We received our I 485 approvals by mail on 4/10/02 and got the passports stamped at the Santa Ana INS field Office on 4/12/02 based on the courtesy copies.

Here are the details

PD Feb 99 EB 3 India
Labor approved: Aug 99
I –140 approval: April 2000
I –485 CSC WAC –01-292-XXX
RD 7/31/2001 ND 9/23/2001
Moved to a different apartment in October 2001. Sent the details in November by letter and Fax to INS CSC

FP done Mid November at Gardena. Done early did not wait till the scheduled date.

AP & EAD Received in December at the new address.

I 485 approved on April 5th 2002 and received courtesy copies on April 10th 2002 at the new address

AVM on April 11th still has the old message \' Processing resumed on January 4th \'

Regular visitor to this board but an infrequent contributor. Thanks to PCEE and other active contributors for the wealth of information

Attempted twice to post earlier this news but failed. Got it resolved last night after sending mail to Monica.

Good luck and best wishes to every one waiting for the approvals. I think the approvals are coming but I guess news in not reaching us because of the posting problems.

I couldn\'t post and read the messages about contacting someone to fix the problem. I just thought ..... awww that\'s too much hassle so I didn\'t do it. Then I received an email from the website which all I had to do was respond and it revalidated me, which was easy. So if others are like me.... it might be just a hassle to send an email etc.

To further prove this out.... I looked at the various monthly spreadsheets of PC\'s tracker and I noticed that all the San Jose finger printers haven\'t gotten back and updated their fingerprints. They notified the site they received their fingerprint notice and the time has elapsed where they should have notified the board they had gone in yet they haven\'t gotten back with their updates.

The timing seems to correlate with when I was locked out from posting on the board. Check out Oct-Nov at the San Jose finger print notices.

Therefore people might be getting their notices and not getting back as well as the tax return deluge clogging the USPS (INS may in fact be processing at the same rate as before)
 
I think INS is processing at the same pace ....

Two of my friends got approvals and I guy got RFE in the past week...This shows that INS is moving.
 
I am new user. But browse the site regularly. No approvals for the entire week.

The message gets refreshed and says last post as todays date. But I am not seeing any new comments added to this. Why? Any posting problems?

I didn\'t receive any private messages about approvals in the past few days! May be people lost their interest to post messages/approvals on to this board due to ID problems or may be becasue of quality change of discussion on this board!
