ID for fingerprints?

My parents are going for a biometric thing done soon.
However, their passports have expired.
Also, they just moved to my place, so they have driver's licenses issued in a different state with the old address.

So, basically, with expired passports and outdated but valid driver's licenses, will they be allowed to get in for fingerprints?

Any other IDs they can use? They're both seniors.

Try to get valid IDs before the FP appointment. It should be a simple transfer at the DMV.
Worst case, they can try to use their expired passports.

They should have some kind of valid ID, renew their passports at least!

You can possibly get state ID's for them, if they have a local address/rental lease/address confirmation

if their license is valid regardless of state that would do.
as long as it was issued by one of the 50 states
