I94 & TN Visa

Well, I have another doubt.

My family & I all got a 3 year mailed extension on our TN status. All Mexicans so we know we need to get a new TN visa at the consulate when we leave the country, however, do we need to return our 3 year I94's? I know if our visas were still valid we don't do it but we always keep a copy in hand just in case. Now, since we'll be hopefully getting a new Visa, should we keep them or hand them out when leaving? Would they respect this new I94 when we come back with our new TN visas?

Any ideas would be gladly appreciated.

Manuel

You may notice that your new iI-94s have the same number as your old, so they are in essence, the same I-94 with a new expiry date, so the old one is now a souvenir. The new ones are perfectly fine. Some time the border issues new ones, but that is of no concern to you

Even if they are not the same, you have a new status card, so there is no need to show that you left US in a timely fashion - --you did not have to leave.

I assume you meant TN for you and TDs for family.

Yes, TN for me and TD for my family. Would they respect the previously approved I94 when I get to the border?
