I94 Revalidation for H4 EAD Auto Extension

Hello has anyone recently applied h1 +h4 + h4 EAD together? Are h4 + h4 EAD paper filing only while h1 is online filing?

Hi there, I am in exactly the same situation. My wife's H4 expiring in Mar 12th. I received my I-797 more than a month ago on premium. Unfortunately, the H4 is still pending.
Is going to Mexico a valid option for my wife and come back before her current Visa expires and get her I-94 revalidated to 2028? How has been the experience for the folks who had recently tried this option. Are CBP oficers going to do that or should we ask them specifically to update our I-94?
Please help
Hi satheeshka
I am also on same page did you get info my i-94 is going to be expired

In the same situation. I 94 will expire soon. Ankit- appreciate if can share your experience. Did you travel to Mexico to revalidate I 94? If so, which location you been to? It would be very helpful if you could share that!
Hi Jhanti
If you tried let me know my i-94 expire soon

@satheeshka my EAD is expiring in may 2025. Husband’s h1b got approved until 2028 but my h4 is still pending. Planning to go Cancun. Visa stamp expired in 2021 but h4 is valid until may 2025. Can I go to Cancun and re enter and ask them to update h4 i94 until h1b approval date. Pls reply.
Hi @Astroph
I am on the same boat did you get your i-94 extended when your current h4 is in process

Sathee
We tried recently went to Cancun Mexico and came back to Atlanta GA PORT OF ENTRY its smooth no head ache

U should have valid I-94 with visa stamp so you can travel to Mexico and come back with new I-94 ask them to update based on new I94 of H1B
I am also in same situation , i tried a week ago cross the mexicon border san diego , but CBP offficer said come back just before 10 days expiration left , with in 10 day si need to file H4 EAD then eligibile for auto 540 days extension, thinking to go another mexicon border ( Texas ) can't take risk for last minute.

My wife's H4, H4 EAD, visa, and I-94 are going to expire on May 19th, 2025.

My H1B was recently approved until May 19th, 2028. My wife planned to get a new I-94 using my H1B approval copy, so she traveled to the San Diego Mexico border on April 9th. However, they refused to issue a new I-94, stating that there are still 40 days left before the current I-94 expires and asked us to come back just 10 days before expiration. This tight deadline makes it challenging to file her H4 EAD within 10 days to be eligible for the 540-day automatic extension (without employment interruption). is any suggestion how to get I-94 revalidated ?

hi @Kumar697 - Did your spouse cross the border to Mexico and on entry they told they can not update until 10 days remaining? or she just go to CBP office on US side and asked ? I have similar situation and trying to find my options?

She crossed the Mexico border near San Diego, I am planning to travel another Mexico border near TX. Where are u planning to cross the border.

We plan on trvelling to ON, Canada for a short vacation and I believe on return we need to sumbit the new I-94 for H-1B , old I-94 for H4 also?
