I94 Question

I just got my interview date letter (June19th). I have one slight problem though, my I94 expires May23rd. My H1B visa is valid till July 2007 but the last time I came back into the US, my visa was stamped till May23rd as my passport was expiring then. I have my passport renewed and was hoping that I would get my interview call before the 23rd of May but unfortunately that did not happen. What should I do, I dont necessarily want to travel outside the country to get a new I94. Is there a way to extend my I94 while I am here in the US and can it be easily done? Thanks a lot in advance.

You are fine, your I-94 which has your H1B Visa can be expired as long as your status here as H1B is still valid. Visa doesn't reflect your status, your H1B is. So relax and good luck on your interview
