I was in US in L1 and I applied for fresh H1 this year and my H1 got approved in June 15, 2007.
I got all the H1 documents including I797A from my employer before i left US. I left US on July 5,2007. When i left US I returned only the I94 that was originally given when i entered US. I didnt add the I94 that came with I797 form with my original I94.
My question is should i have also given the I94 that is present in tha I797 form with original I94
or that is not required.
Please let me know if you have idea on this situation.
