I94 Missing in my I797 Form

Hey Guys,

I received my I797 form without having I94 as the detachment. I want to apply for revalidation and get my stamping done here itself. All my collegues whose petition was processed have that I94 attached with that I797 form.

All i want to know whether its a valid to send it for stamping. I have my old I94 stapled in my passport. Can i make use of this old one for revalidation or is my I797 has to be re applied for correction.

I am desperate to see my family as it already took 2 months for I797 petition to get it.

First find out if it is a new H1b or an extension of the older H1b.
How long is the present i-94 valid?
If it is a new H1b then may b u have to go 2 ur home country for stamping and if it is an extension then may b u can get it done across the border.
This information is not accurate - just suggestions of what i know.
 
If the I94 is missing, then you have to go the nearest POE and get one using the new approval. You can also get one in the local office by filing 102. use old I94. If it is denied both places, you have to go to US consulate and get a new visa stamp and then try to get into US. Only then can you continue to work in this h1.
