I94 extension

Hi Gurus

I came to US on J1 visa (2 yrs) but applied for I140 and got it approved under EB2, now my case is filed for I485. I plan to travel overseas, I already have AP and EAD. WAS I SUPPOSED TO GET NEW I-94, IF YES !!!! WHAT CAN I DO NOW??? Appreciate your help.

Yep, you need to fill out new I-94 while re-entering USA. The old one (Which you have ) you have to drop in at airline counter before leaving USA (while check in )

I had a related question. I have applied for my I-485 in Sep '01. Meanwhile, my I-94 has expired in Dec '01 since my 6 years of H1 was up.

Now, i'm planning to travel on AP. Would the expired I-94 be an issue?

Appreciate if the experts weighed in on this. Thanks.
