I94 expiring soon, entering US from Canada

Hello All,
Need some advice. I am canadian PR and in posession of a valid I94 which is expiring on April 07. I am going to US on long weekend and will return back on April 10th. What/how can i get a new I94? Do i have to request a new I94 or will i be granted a fresh one once i tell them that i will return back after expiry of my existing I94? What are my options? Please advice.

Well since you are a Canadian PR you should have surrendered your I-94 the last time you returned from the US. I would advise you to inform ICE of your intentions at the POE and follow their instructions. Since you will be staying past your current I-94, they will issue you a new one. I am assuming you have a valid multiple entry visa and you are granted admission at the POE.
