I824 receipt time?

It should take similar to that of any pitition/application to INS. Presently in CSC it is around 2 to 3 weeks..
 
Which is your home consulate? Chennai pretty much needs the I824 approval. TSC took a little more than a year (yes it is true)for my I824 approval. Also does anyone know what is the procedure after I824 approval. Also does INS send the approval to Chennai or NVC?

One YEAR!!!!!! AOS could be better option..
 
I-824 receipt time -- 2 weeks

I got my receipt in less than 2 weeks. P3 has reached the Mumbai consulate today. I am excited. Barely 2 weeks after starting the AC140 process and the case is in Mumbai, Now I wish I had found out about this a year earlier instead of waiting on the 485!

Appeal, My attorney too has never done AC140. All you need really is
1. The I-824 receipt
2. Original I-140 approval Notice
3. P3
3a. OF169
3b. DS230 part I

That's it. when NWD receives your paperwork they should assign you a case number and then schedule you for an interview within 2 months or so after that. By the way, my consulate is Mumbai and my case is EB3.

it is hard for me to put things in context and i would love to hear from someone who has done it recently.

What financial docs are reqd from the co. ?
Do i need to send I-134, tax transcripts for last 3 years at the time of sending ac140?

Please explain what did your ac140 pkt consist of ? please mention every single doc you sent.

Please spend some time to gude me with process.
