Hi guys,
I need some advice here..

I got married to my wife who is american citizen this year on May, and would like to apply for green card.

Now, she doesnt work..she just graduatd with a bachelor degree..
and i am graduating in december as well.. I do work at school, and I get income from my parent as well.. around 2000 every month excluding school fees and such...

Now, I know that INS need her to prove that she can sponsor me financially..though i am more of sponsoring her financialy at the moment of time..

So what shall i do? I mean, i can get her to co sponsor us financially..but I really dont want to use that option... is there anyway to work around this?

please let me know...thanks

yes, if your wife's income and assets are not sufficient to show 125% of poverty level, then a member of her family, friends, anybody who is a USC or resident, who has sufficient income and who is willing to co-sponsor you, has to sign I-864 form as well. your wife must sign it, and co-sponsor is just that - a co-sponsor.
If you have no one to help you, but you yourself have sufficient income or assets, then you can co-sign the form with your wife.

just follow the instructions on form I-864. Read it carefully.
