Hi, I looked through other threads but didn't see my issue already addressed.

My husband's i730 was approved. He is in china. On uscis website it states his case was approved in May 2008, but we never received anything in the mail.

My question is, how does he get to the US? he went to his local consulate in china, but they told him he needs some kind of "svu" or suv" #. We have no idea what that is.

Any ideas? Who can we contact for help? (My lawyer won't help unless I give him more money, and i'm tapped out for now)

Thank you!

The consulate in Canton does not do anything until they receive official notice of the approval from the USCIS. If you cannot afford a lawyer, you should ask your member of congress for help.
