1 fill up the form I-539and sign
2 pay the BCIS fess $140
3 attach copy of your I-94 (front and back)
4 attach copy of your spouse H1 approval
5 attach copy of your spouse valid I-94 (front and back)
6 attach H1 holder 2-3 recent pay stubs Or employer letter that XYZ is working with them on H1 his salary is …. Job title and request to extend her spouse H4 till date (H1 expiry date)
7 attach copy of your passport pages
8 attach copy marriage certificate
Write on cover letter

Please find the following documents for H4 extension based on my husband H1 approval notice till date.. . the required document for H4 extension are attached in order:
1 BCIS fess check
2Completed Form I-539 (write all the documents attached in order) write your home address on cover letter
Sign the form I-539 and cover letter mail it to BCIS service center and out side the envelope write in big letter FORM I-539 FOR H4 EXTENSION

---- This is under additional information” you have to write NO as you are not including any other person with this application and you have not been employed correct answer is NO

For part 4 additional info only asks that if you ticked NO for ‘3g” fully discribe how you are supporting……
Make separate sheet A and write explanation of PART 4 3G: mu husband XYZ is working on H1B visa status with company ABCD and he earns 000000 yearly and he is supporting me his recent pay stubs copies are attached. You have to sign this page or write this info on page 3 of I-539 they have provided space if you answered NO to question 3g

Thanks Ginnu for all the help. We have already mailed and all ur info has been very useful not just for me but also for many others.
We just forgot about this matter and just few days back we came 2 know that I have 2 get my H4 approval even if my husband is having I797.
I know this process is simple but in todays scenario one doesn't want 2 do any mistakes as things can be denied for a very small reason. So I asked u few questions for which we had doubt in our mind.
I also found through this site that its not just us but many people r not aware of this. We would really had been in a problem.
