transfer case

hi

we are in same boat. we got the message yesterday. they transfered our case to new york. this is EB3 case.
 
Last updated date was 10/26 and then on 11/04 got the email and also the status changed on the net.
Mine is actually a 245 i case . Not sure if they trasfer all such cases to local office. Also just checked on the net that the processing date in NYC is July 2002!!!!!!! I am so......sad
 
About 98% of 245i cases are transferred to local BCIS office. Don't worry. You will be approved. It will be just formality during the inteview. Please prepare for the interview.
 
What do you mean by 245 i? I got an RFE even though my case is AC21. Would my case be transferred after submitting the RFE? Please reply.
 
245i means person who was out of status in the past or violated immigration laws (worked illegally) or entered illegal.

Chains2, sometimes they can be transferred after submitting RFE. not all the times. It is up to officer to make decisions.
