Here are the details of our experience at San Jose:
We went for the stamping yesterday 6/12. We reached the INS office at 1.30 am (yes *am*). There were 46 people already ahead of us. The office opened at 7.00 am and we were all given tokens. My husband (primary applicant) and I were given separate tokens. They started processing the cases at around 7.15. We were called at 9.40. The whole stamping process took 5 minutes. We had only the courtesy copy and we didn\'t have any problems with this.
Some advice:
1.Go early - otherwise you\'ll have to either spend the whole day at the INS office or worse, will have to go back the following day
2.Take some chairs to sit comfortably
3. Wear layers of clothing to be comfortable in the chill weather. It is especially cold between 3-5 in the morning
4. Take a flask of coffee or tea (and some eatables,if you like)
Our case details;

I485 Approval: 6/101
Good luck,
