First some background info:
I had my AOS interview last summer after getting the interview letter. Things didn't start off so good; because the officer wasn't familliar with my case which was a special section of the law for Haitian refugees. He was under the impression that mine was a standard family case.
After about 45 minutes of questions, he had me go to lunch and come back while he uses that time to read up on the computer about that section of the law.
After I came back, he was much calmer. He told me that it looks like everything was fine, and that I clearly qualified; but give him over the weekend to make sure and he'll send me a decision within two weeks.
Fast forward to this year:
Just this week, I got another interview letter; but this one looks different.
1. It states in the appointment letter, Ask for: and it gives the officers name to ask for.
2. It states the reason for the appointment as: Completion of I485 Interview
3. The only documents requested are ID's Passport and I94. That's it.
Quetions:
What do you guys think, is this a good sign or bad? I kind of take as a good sign; like it's a formality. But I'm not sure.
Has any one seen an appointment letter in that format before?
Looking forward to all of your responses.
Thanks
