I485 RFE on the EVL

Hi,

Received RFE about the EVL(Employment Verification Letter) on my I-485. I talked to my company and they sent me EVL. Before sending the responce to the RFE, I have couple of questions:

1) Who has to respond to the RFE - Can I send the responce letter to RFE or Attorney has to respond
2) Do I need to write any covering letter along with the "EVL". If yes - Can anybody share a Sample Letter

Can you post your timeline? Do you think why the RFE was issued about the verification of your employment?

--------- if RFE was sent to YOU then you reply if RFE was sent to your lawyer let him reply.

Timeline: My PD is August 2002 and I485 RD is Jan 2004

--------- Write on cover letter your Name, DOB, A# panding I-485 reciept# and address and write what you are submitting as asked in RFE letter Sign the letter with date and attach what was asked

Don't you want to ask your lawyer reply to the CIS with an employment letter signed by your employer?

Did you get the reply at your address?
Was there any LUD changes before they issue the RFE.
Cause I saw LUD on my case but no text changes.

------------LUD can be for anything it does not mean RFE, Preshan attama pareshaan honey ki koi jarruart nahin...

My freind has received an RFE email on June 19th for I-485. But she has not received the physical RFE letter.

Does the RFE go to her lawyer? And should she be worried as to why she has not received the RFE mail as yet?

Should she take an Info-Pass to go to the local INS and find out?

Please advise.

------------if her I-485 was filed by lawyer then RFE will go to lawyer she need to contact lawyer office.

-------------- if the service center sent RFE then local office may not help.

Is there any way you can find out about the RFE either by phone or visit.
More than 8 days have passed...though and the mail has not come as yet..
