Folks,

I applied for my I485+EAD+AP at the beginning of this month.

Who will get the receipt? does it come to me OR the attorney? is the receipt no. same for all three or do we get seperate receipts?

My understanding is they will go to your lawyer.
I also filed 485 with VSC at begining of this month. still haven\'t got receipt notice. what\'s wrong with VSC? Have you call IIO?

I was told by attorney my application was mailed on 03/26. Checked yesterday, still no receipt yet. Will check next week.

According to my attorney it was sent on April 11th. hope it is true.

i applied somewhere in the mid of april as well. No recipt as Yet. My lawyer said call me after 4 weeks of filing.

My Lawyer refused to take the checks. He asked me for Money order. I dont know whether INS accepts personal checks or not. you should confirm it from somebody.

The receipts were mailed to me directly by INS. I guess it depends on the address the Lawyer filled in the I-485 application.

Why does it take VSC more than a month to issue a 485 receipt notice?
I saw many people used to get receipt notice within 2-3 week? what\'s happening?
