I485 RD 2006 Case tracking

It appears NSC is chugging along nicely and we've seen many approvals in the past couple of weeks for 2003 and 2004 and even some for 2005. Very soon it might be the turn of the 2006 folks to see some approvals. I remember that in 2005 there were not many cases filed due to lack of visa numbers so I'm hoping NSC will speed through 2005 cases quickly and start on 2006 pending cases before the flood of new filings.
I thought it might be worthwhile to exchange information related to our pending I 485 cases.

My case details are in my signature, kindly post yours as well if your I 485 is pending and RD is sometime in 2006.

Those who opened up SRs and talked to IOs please state your experiences as well.
 
RD 10/13/06 Case under review

My I 485 was received on 10/14/06. Has not received any LUD whatsoever.

FP was done in 11/06.

Called a few months back and received a response from Service Request that says the case is undergoing security check.

Called two weeks ago, the IO gave very confusing answer but said will put in a service request.

Received response from Service Request today that says "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter".

Dont know if it means it has cleared NC and is being reviewed or not.

I'm lost here, why NSC runs out of visa #? What i know, once your PD is current, you had already Visa #, I had Alien# already in my I-140 and I-485 receipts? Is that the same with Visa#?

I have not done a service request on mine. Can you please advise how to go about it? Are IO at NSC asking if our RDs are within processing time or they pretty much give out information.

All,

I thought service requests can be opened only if 30 days have passed beyond the processing date mentioned in the latest visa bulletin.
So question I have for you DZW1234 is how did you manage to open up a service request and get a response for it?
Perhaps you called during the time NSC had erroneously put out processing date as 3/2007 on the visa bulletin.

Please clarify for us.

Have any of you gone for infopass, if so please share those experiences.
 
I have placed a service request a week back but till now didn't get any response.I am calling NSC everyday sometimes am getting nice IO and some times am not getting good response and they are simply saying wait 120 days.I don't know when we all get our approvals.

To place a SR just call 1-800-375-5283 and choose 1,2,6,4 options.CSR will take all your details and submits a request.
