I485 questions after EB1A I140 approved.

Hello Forum,

I am reading through the 485 instructions and noticed 11. A. Affidavit of Support and B. Employment Letter.

A. I don't think I have to submit an affidavit of support right? Do I have to submit one for my wife (derivative applicant)?

B. Since I got my I140 approved on EB1A, do I need to show any employment letter? Furthermore, it was a self petition.

Filing address: I assume I do not qualify to use any of the lockboxes, right? I had sent my application to TSC and got approval from there. My I140 approval also states that I need to apply for AOS at the same service center, so I assume I need to send my 485, EAD and AP for me and my wife to TSC? Could anyone please confirm this? Do I apply for EAD for my spouse along with this application?

No employment letter nor Affidavit of Support required for an EB1 self petitioned case. Not for yourself nor your wife.

If she currently doesn't have work authorization or wishes to work on EAD once 485 is filed, then yes. Its not a requirement to file for EAD along with I485 application. It can always be applied for later once I485 has been submitted.
