One of my friend and his wife both filed I485 in Dec2000. But my friend\'s lawyer filed his wife\'s I485 when she went to India. But she is holding H1B visa. Since she was in India by the time Lawyer filed her I485 is going to be problem? Whether she need to refile her I485 or since she is on H1B she doesn\'t need to refile I485. Another question is her company is going to close soon. Since she already filed her I485 does she need to apply another H1B or She need to convert to H4 or no need to do anything because she is in I485 stage(Adjustment of Status). Please advice.
