I485 processing times changed to 10/1/01 in the new JIT report

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful News.

Considering lesser # of cases filed in Oct and Nov. if we're lucky, JIT will move forward even faster now on until Dec.

So if 131 and 765 both show as current - why
is my 131 and 765 with RD of 9/20/02 showing on
the website as received only ?

Either I'm mis-interpreting the report or the
INS have a different definition of current !!!

Anyone help me understand this ?

RJL:mad:

What are the chances that INS is rigging JIT reports to make them look good? I have scores of WAC-01 friends who are still waiting for approvals. Can we have a WAC-01 count?

Rjl, I may not be correct but..

my understanding is ... you need to look at I-765 90 day times which is not current. Right now they are processing 07/27. ... So you will receive yours soon...
PS

Good news. I'm a waiting WAC-01 series dude. I think, all these cases are assigned to officers before the audit started. As far as rigging is concerned, I think INS is answerable to no one!!:D Good luck guys.

Waiting journey continues..........

Waiting continues beyond 14 months.......I am not letting my spirits down......:D :D :D

Coooooooool guuuuuuuuuuys !!!!!!

It is good news that I-485 processing date moved to 10/01 in JIT. Please note that it means all pending cases with earlier date are already being processed, that means at least they are assigned to an officer now. That is the reason why CSC asks people to send FAX inquiries only one month after JIT date assuming that it takes app. a month for any case to be processed normally. So in my openion all WAC#s with 01 series must be assigend now, if you find otherwise there is something wrong and probably oine should talk to an IIO or send a FAX inquiry.

Also if AP is current means (if it is, I didn't check JIT though) people will get APs with in a month from now onwards. All it means if one applies for AP the case will be assigned to an officer almost immediately for processing and it may take 1 month of processing time.

graph of receipts/approval etc

I remember vaguely, that someone has posted a link to a graphical report on receipts/approvals and few other parameters...In that report we could see that receipts for 485 were reducing after mid last year...Can anyone post that URL, pls.? I searched but couldnt find it on this site...

Still Waiting for receipt

Still waiting for my 485 Receipt. Filed for EAD and AP at the same time, so I am glad things have moved some. Hope to get my receipt soon. This is like a never ending wait. It is good to hear that chiefcook2002 and grassisgreen have their cases assigned. Good luck to you guys. I am sure you have totally tired by now and wondering if all this is worth the green card. :) Hope you guys get your Approvals soon!

Regarding rigging of the JIT reports, I don't think so. What ever said and done, INS doesn't need to look good in front of anyone. They just don't care, so why pad the results and catch it hot from the citizens who don't want to see major jumps in immigration levels, and from AILA when they see there is no forward motion of cases. I am sure the cases have been assigned, whether they will be approved soon is another matter! :)

Hi, Guys:

I do not think the JIT moved to 10/01/2001 necessarily mean that all the case filed before that data has been assigned. (definitely I hope so).

But the good thing for the JIT moving forward is that our lawyer may file inquiry to remind them some forgotten case. (supposedly when JIT 30 days passed your receipt date).

What is good for this inquiry? Because they have several levels. No progress for 30 days you may file to higher lever. The third is to the service center director. According to some of the lawyers most of the case will be done at the second inquiry.

Any comment?

no other site (murthy, shusterman, fdbl, lewslaw..) has updated their JIT report. All have the previous report which shows I-485 as 09/01.

Why is that? any idea??

Different People update at different times. Usually FDBL is fast. I wouldn't worry too much about JIT at usabal being incorrect. Chances are it is okay

dks, I think you can certainly call IIO. Even better it'd be great if you and your lawyer can call IIO on a conference call. Also sending fax won't hurt, but really the rule is wait a month for JIT to pass before you send fax.
