I485 processing forwarded to local INS office from INS Vermont

I called INS Vermont today to check status of my case filed in Feb. this year. I was told my case was forwarded to local INS office (Newark, NJ). Is this normal or I should be concerned about it?

Filed my I-485 in Feb 2nd week.
Finger Printing on June 21, 2001.
And now case forwarded to local INS.

I am from India. Have been in this country for 5 yrs. This is my 3rd employer. I am a post graduate (MCA) with 10yrs. of experience in hand as on date.

AVM says "Your application was received on ... and ntice was mailed to you on ... It will take 365 to 540 days to process this kins of application."

Prior to this, message was "EAC number not found."
