I did not find any errors, but i dont' see anything wrong either! Where did you get the impression that Philadelphia is slow? It's faster then many other office, for ex. Atlanta?
 
NYC wrong date

NYC has been posting all kind of strange dates. MY RD is 05/02/2002 and there is no interview letter yet. I am very sure there are so , so many other early cases waiting in NYC than mine.

Atlanta is not 'slow', it's 'too slow'. However, the good thing in Atlanta is that they process the cases according to the RD. In Philaldelphia, it's very different: they process according to the date 'they' received it. Nobody knows when did they received the transferred cases. My case were transferred by VSC in 09/2003. Philadelphia said they received it in 03/2004!
 
tufan, i was wondering exactly where you got the info about i485 processing dates on the uscis.gov site, b'cos the processing dates i saw for buffalo and boston were at the tail end of February, far from the July date you have on this thread.
I'm trying to see if i'm viewing old info on that website or if you're entirely wrong. could you tell us more how you got those dates. some seem correct, but others look way off what i saw on the uscis.gov site
 
Feedback 485 cases transferred to local office

Finally guys i got confirmation about the transferred 485 applications processing timings. What ever the timings are provided by district offices are only relevant for family based applications that are directly filed in local office. For transferred applications officially there is no date as such. The only way to know the status of the case is to talk to Immigration officer by fixing an appointment through Infopass. I really have no idea how much really congressman or senator can help.

I contacted the senator John Warner's office today morning, the lady who handles the immigration related issues said that we can only inquire with the district office only if we didn't receive any response after 6 months the case is transferred.

My case is transferred to washington dc office on 23rd september, 2004. It can take up to 6 months in the normal course of time for the interview to be scheduled. In some cases it might be in 1 -4 months time also.

All the people whose cases are transferred have to keep their spirit up and wait for the decision/interview letter thats all i can tell guys after researching from last 4-5 days extensively.
