I485 pending can we change job?

We applied for I140 and I485 concurrently on 3 apr 2003. I140 is approved on 6 aug 2003.
1. Can my husband change employer?
2. His H1b has expired so if he take new job , does he need to work on EAD?
3. This new employer may transfer him to india office which means he won't on their US payroll and will be on india office payroll, in that case is his green card process still valid?

----- he can change job but he can NOT use AC21, better change the job I-140 approved AND I-485 pending more than 180 days
2. His H1b has expired so if he take new job , does he need to work on EAD?
---- if he does not have H1 status then he has to use EAD for work

**** dont change the employer NOW, your I-140 is approved let I-485 be pending for 180 days than only think of changing employer.

------ past employer may revoke the I-140 before the I-485 hits 180 days dont take the risk of going with other employer if you want GC. if you dont need GC then you can go to India any time.
