I485 pending and I130 approved...question

This is the situation.I got interviewed. No decison taken because more docs were requested. This was 20th of Dec. Brought the additional requested documents on the same day (used the referral form) and now i am waiting for an answer. In the mean time i got a letter saying that I130 is approved. What does it mean? and how it relates to my I485/interview?

I-130 is the basis for your I-485. There wouldn't be an I-485 without I-130.

Did you file those two forms concurrently? If yes, then they were being adjudicated together, and since your I-130 is approved and you have submitted the missing documents for your I-485, I'm thinking your I-485 should also be approved soon.
