I485 is in last stage and Travelling with AP any issues?

Hi friends,

Will it be a problem if my wife travels to india now with AP and if I485 gets approved here, after she left?

Is there any other procedures that we need to follow to avoid problems at port of entry or during stamping when she's coming back?

I may be pretty close getting my GC and I am in a situation like this.

WAC - 02-124-5XXXX
1st FP date: June'2002
2nd FP date: Jan'2004
Notice Date: 03-04-2002

There will be no problem if 485 gets approved when you are overseas. Simply enter US on AP/H1 etc. and you will be admitted/paroled and instructed to visit a USCIS service center for stamping.
 
No problem at all. I was in India when my 485 was approved. Came back on AP without a problem and got the 551 stamp. Card was mailed yesterday.

But, can you let me know aftre it got approved, how many days after, you came back to this country?
So, you got stamped at port of entry only?
How do we know that card is mailed?

you will not be stamped at the point of entry - your 551 stamp will be at your Service Center - once you have that taken care of, you will have your card with 3-6 weeks.
 
Can anyone please tell whether will there be any problem to come in to this country if the green card is approved when you are out of country - I really want to know in detail from the experienced perons with this scenario.
