Hi,

We received I797C, Notice of Action yesterday requesting to appear for initial interview. Our case got transferred to NBC last month.

Our original priority date is 12/04, but on this notice it is shown as 07/06/07, the same date we applied for I485.

My husband has an expunged arrest record for DV misdemeanor. My Question is:

1. Is this interview triggered due to the expunged record (We'd mentioned it in the 485 application )??

2.What could be the possible outcome of this interview in regards to the expunged record.

3.Has any one encountered priority date change as we have? Or is it an typo error by USCIS. IF yes, should we inform them about the error?


Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
 
Do not bother about the date shown its probably a mistake. you can always have it corrected even if it isn't. My cousin had the same issue and he got it corrected.

As for the interview, in all probability it was the arrest record that triggered the interview. Focus on that and take all papers relating to it and employment. I wouldn't worry about the date issue.
