I485 GC interview was in Feb 09, no response yet

Wife US Citizen.. we had our interview on Feb 19, 2009. It was fairly short.. not even 5 minutes. The lady said we will get some decision in the mail in a couple of weeks. It has been 3 months and no response. I checked online, no updates. I also called the 1800 number. They have the same info as is online. Does anyone know?


Is it normal for GC through citizen spouse to take that long for a decision? We were planning on traveling overseas but have to wait for this and cannot make any plans.
 
I have a similar situation, our interview was Feb. 24th 2009, no final decision, interview was a bit strange.
I took an infopass appointment on May 5th 2009, and the lady said that the officer who interviewed us decided that we needed a second interview.
She said that there is no way to find out when the second interview is gonna be scheduled or within how much time we will get a notice, but that it can take up to 6 months from the interview date.
She also gave us a paper that says:

"The status of this service request is:
The application is currently pending scheduling of an interview. You will be notified by mail when your case is scheduled for an appointment."

And as of today we still have not received anything.

The 1800 rep said she will forward my request for info. but I also made an infopass app for June 1st week. Anyways, I got an update in the mail that says

the status of service request is: we are actively processing the case. However we have to perform additional review and this has caused a longer processing time.

Our lawyer went with us to the interview and he says there was nothing unusual. Everything went on well. I am not sure what seems to be the delay. We can't even make any plans to travel.

I did an infopass and the lady told me that they sent the file to the National Archives by mistake after the officer made the decision. That is why there was no response. She said she will get the file back and will contact me. What does that mean?
