I485 filing question, PLEASE HELP

Hi, my lawyer sent me the paperwork and a list of required documents for I485 filing. But TAX RETURN was NOT ON THE LIST. I emailed him and he said again TAX RETURN is not required.

What experience are you guys having? Please help. Thanks.

You donot need to submit Tax returns along with I-485 Package.

My lawyer has asked me to submit last 3 years tax returns. It means that tax returns are required at the time of filing I-485

I send I-485 without Tax reuturns.

It depends on lawyer to lawyer and INS officer to officer..i have seen some approvals without birth certificates/affidavit of birth and have seem some RFE\'s for the same. Also i have seen RFE\'s for W-2\'s and tax returns and approvals without W-2/Tax Returns. So its all luck but would advise to send it along with 485.
