I485 filed, Want to change employer.

Hello,

I had filed I140 & I485 together, I140 was approved in FEB 2006. USCIS received my I485 application in sept 2005 and its not yet approved. I am in my 7th yr and got 3 yr H1 & H4 after I140 approval. I got married in Oct 2005. My wife's name is not yet included in my processing as INS has stopped issuing visa #s ( Priority dates)

What are the consequences if I switch my employer? Could I still add my wife's name in my processing if I switch my employer? Will there be any problems in my GC processing?

What is your advice to me in this case?

485 issue

you have already filed your 485 which is in process yet, as far as i know you can add your wife no matter what employer you joined, your wife is your responsibility not the employers you will sponsor her not your employer, but file her 485 ASAP in conjunction with your application dont delay it if you get approved and in the mean time you didn't include her, then that wuld be a big issue afterwords.
You can change your job once you file 485 after 140 approval, but it should be the same job responsibility as u have with your prior employer. but Generally it is not advisable to change a job, it may complecate your GC process...
