I485 / EAD concerns

My employment auth. card expires Nov 13 and I still havent received notification of my biometrics appointment to renew the card. They did however send me last week for my pending I485 (been in process for 3 years and was recently transferred to Texas S.C).

From your experience does this mean that the I-485 is nearing the end and so, they are not processing the renewal of my employment auth. card ? I noticed they cashed the check for the renewal.

Concerned !!:confused:

I have applied on june 28th but still not received my ead renewal approval. Mine is expiring on october 17th.

Guys, do you have a H1B as a fallback? If not, what are your options for now? I may get to be in the same boat as I have around 2 months for my EAD expiry and I submitted my app a week ago.
 
Since I am still with my consulting company; I will ask them to stop running the payroll.
