I submitted my I140 based on EB1A on my own behalf, it was approved in May 2003 in Nebraska center.
I submitted I485 application in Feb, 2003 in Nebrasa Center.
Because the laboratory I was working was moved to Atlanta, GA, I moved to Atlanta, GA in July, 2003.
---------- No problem because your I-140 was self sponsored, you can change any employer because your I-140 was NOT based on LC, your case is extraordinary ability I-140 approval, you only need to show that you are working in the same field for which your I-140 was approved
I already updated my address change.
------ Good. Did you sent AR11 and updated the service center and NCSC because many time service center don’t update the address immediately and keep sending the mail to old address. Speak to NCSC to confirm your new address if they have changed it or not
Is there anybody who has similar experiences, will my I485 be denied because I changed employer less than 180 days after I485 was submitted?
----- NO, your case is self sponsored EB1, you should need to work only in your field and can submit new employer letter to BCIS any time or when and if they send RFE
Is my approved I140 still effective?
---- YES
*** If you have moved after filing I-485, also update the address with the Srvice center sending a letter, write your past and new address in the cover letter provide your A # also attach copy of your pending I-485 and out side the envelope wtite: Attention: Address Change. Send this letter to service center with return receipt mail. Also update NCSC on Phone # 1-800-375-5283. you also need to fill up form AR11 and mail it.
