i485 denied after i140 NIW approved?

Hello All,

just wanted to know if anyone came across with the case when the i485 was denied after I-140 was approved under NIW.
If you can please elaborate on details it would be great.

There could be several reasons: being out of status/unlawfully present before or when applying for 485, felony convictions, failing background and security checks, having periods of unauthorized employment... most of these reasons don't apply to most applicants, so unless you've done something wrong (and know it), I wouldn't worry too much.

Hello freinds:
any suggestion as to which 140 approval one should base thier 485 on. In my case i have 2 approvals of 140 for OR as well as NIW.
