How long did it take for the approval letter to arrive in mail.
Did it go to attorney or to you?

It took 2 weeks for the approval to come in mail. I received the curtsey
copy and my attorney received the original approval.

Could you please let us know if you personally had to do anything to get the Notice for your 2nd FP. Thanks...

I called the TSC IIO in the month of April\'01 & informed
about my first FP expiring. At that time I was told that
TSC was processing 07/99 cases and hence she would
send me 2nd FP notice.

I went to the FP office and showed them a copy of my first FP letter that had expired. They said they needed a new one from Texas or from Atlanta.

I then went to the local INS in downtown Atlanta (waited 1 hour in no appointment line and 1 hour in a room) and demanded a FP letter. I showed her my I485 document.

She checked the computer. Saw how long it had taken.

Then she asked "Who sent you here?".

I said the local FP office.

She gave me the letter (for me and my wife) and made copies to send to the Texas center.

We gave our FPs next day at the FP office.
