Finally, it\'s over. Heard the 485 approval messages on AVM for both my wife and myself. I check this board frequently but never posted. Now it\'s my turn to contribute a little hope to other 485 sufferers out there.

PD: 10/98
RD: 8/99
ND: 9/99
FP: 11/99, back to INS in 12/99, will expire sometime this month

Howdy all

I and my wife have filed our I-485s in December 1999. RD is Dec 16, 99. Catregory EB-3. Finger Prints were approved in April 99. I have called the INS umpteen times to check on the status especially after I saw people filing after me getting their I-485s approved. The response always has been "it is still pending". Our SRC numbers are 000-054-XXXXX. Are there any more "victims" in this category. Please post your experiences. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason for this madness ar TSC. The official processing date seems to be June 99. This morning, after waiting for 1.5 hours on the phone to talk to the INS operator, I kind of got frustrated with the same response time and again being given to me. is there no other way of finding what really seems to be happening?? We have renewed our EAD\'s recently. Can I switch jobs at this stage or should I continue with the present slavery with my company till we get our passports stamped?? Your input will be greatly appreciated.
