I485 Approved!!!!!!!!!

Got those magic emails this morning (6:21 AM). Our I485s got approved on 12/03. We did our fingerprinting on 09/17 and there was no on-line status change until this morning. Here is our info:

I140: ND - 01/09/04 AD - 02/04/04
I485: ND - 01/09/04 AD - 12/03/04
FP: 09/17

btw I belive this is first TSC 2004 case we see approved.

That's right. I140 got approved within 4 weeks. We were surprised to see that. I think this happened only during January month. There were few people whose I140 got cleared within a month. And during that time, I think USCIS was following a procedure for concurrently filed cases, where they use to enter the files in I485 queue only after I140 processing complete (I think they changed this procedure in May). Because I140 took less time, our I485's entered into the queue along with those 2003 cases that are currently being approved.
