Hey, anyone know what befell Magesh_kk? That dude predicted "parallel processing' and I'd be damned if I see a pattern here. Parallel processing of October 2001-December 2002 cases!! :)

Basically after your I-140 approval, they only took Five months to approve you GC. Thats way too cool for you and too much injustice for us.

I dont know what to say..My happiness doesn't stay longer..Again as per the ins web site they approved my case and( status remained same.i,e approved)..

And when i was checking my wife's case it seems they transferred it to local office..by seeing the below message

On February 26, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in NEWARK AND TETERBORO, NJ for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in NEWARK AND TETERBOROe, NJ will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.


i am in serious doubt about my case??whether my case was aprroved or not ??..just checking and looking for the mail man daily for the approval notice or some other correspondence..

Gurus..please help me to understand..if they approved my case..then how come bcis transfers my wife's case to local ins office..

do we get any letter from nj's office or what should i do..i am totally confused..

I think you should not get worried about your GC. It's separate from your wife's. Just prepare well and she should be okay.

Congratulation!! Looks like USCIS gives priory based on LC priority date and 140 / 485 Receipt/Notice Date.
