I485 approved when in India - Please HELP Urgent

This is an email from my friend in India,
Your suggestion is greatly appreciated .....

" How are you man?.I am in a big soup and need your help asap.I came to India 2 days back to attend my father-in-laws funeral and at the same time my I-485 Got approved.I heard that It will be a problem if we rea out of the country.How soon i need to come back.if I come back in fifteen days will there be any problem at port of entry.Can you please find the Info. "

Does your friend have a travel document? If he does he should be fine my uncle, went back home twice and he was approved while he was over sea so don't worry about it.
 
No problem if he has a valid AP. He can enters any US entry point with his valid AP then go straight to BCIS office for stamping.

Tell him "congratulations on their approvals and our condelences for his father-in-law".

I have a situation where I might be overseas when my I485 will be approved. My attorny cautioned me to be back into the country within 3 weeks after I get the I485 approved.
This is even if I have a AP valid.

- I dont get the point here. Is there a time limit on how soon I need to get my passport stamped after the I485 approval ?

- I thought as long as I have a valid AP, I can get back to into the country.

- Also I have personally seen some folks get their passport stamped by the immigration officer at the airport (not the regular officer, but the one you meet if you have an AP)
