I485 Approved, WAC 0207051xxx

I think my case was resurrected after my lawyers requested for info. (Larrabee & Zimmerman). Right after the request we had finger printing notice. Early May my lawyers made an inquiry and that instigated the RFE (I think so) and two months after that the cases were approved.

Congratulations on your approval. And thanks for answering our questions.

I have one - What type of inquiry did your lawyer make in May? Can you provide us with more details.

Your approval

I am finding it difficult to trust your info on approval.

I see lot of discrepencies in your case.

1. Only one FP ??. That rule has not been relaxed for anyone.
2. Your had only one FP in Dec 2002 ??. Most of Dec 2001 cases' FP were done between Dec 2001 and April 2002.
3. I see you have registered recently. So where were you all these days..
4. Never heard of this law firm. I may be wrong.

I don't balme you for that. I can understand. Mine is a genuine approval (at least I would like to believe so), today I just picked up the actual (the courtesy copy was mailed directly to me) paperwork from the lawyer firm and should be in line by at BCIS on Friday morning.

The FP is done in december 2002, does that violate the rule? I am sure BCIS will not relax any rule for me alone.

You may be right. Most case but not all. Our's was done in December 2002.

3. I see you have registered recently. So where were you all these days..

I was on the side line (for about a month now) watching the good job done by some of you guys. After I got the approval, I thought I should atleast have the courage to inform you guys and commend your active participation.

4. Never heard of this law firm. I may be wrong.

You probably are right, you never heard them. But, you probably also have not heard a about a lot of companies that exist and are in immigration law business. Peter Larabee is a senior lawyer in immigration business and I think he also is in the Senate Immigration Advisory commitee.

Did I instill some confidence in you?
I tried.
If you want to speak to me, send me a mail with a number I can reach you at, I will call you right back.

I wish I could tell you more. You know the lawyers are very terse. At least in my case she was very human and responded every time I asked some question immediately and respectfully.

I speculate that, they know people inside BCIS and thats how they ask stuffs. They rarely ask and when these guys ask they make sure that they get a genuine reply.

From my experience, I know that in my company we had three counsells and 3/4 paralegals handling immigration business and thats how they made inquiries. (These lawyers were ex INS employees, I think) . This Human Resou. unit was outsourced and the lawyers now in this group handle Patents / Ip issues only. Because of this reason, my case was transferred to Peter Larrabee.

This is a long story. I am just trying to compensate for my lack of earlier participation.
