I485 Approved Today! - Questions: Where do the letter go?

Hi all,

I just got the approval letter today through email.

On August 1, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I just wonder where the phisical letter will be sent? To my lawyer or to me directly? How long should I receive the letter?

Letter will be sent to your lawyer, if he was your rep. Otherwise, you will get it.

As for the cards & welcome letters, you will get it directly from the USCIS.

Congratulations ! Very good news for you ECSquare and also for us ! so its clear that USCIS is approving cases after 31st July. Great news !

his sig in the first post shows AD as 7/31; the letter mailed email came today. I was keeping my fingers crossed as well... :-(

Wow! USCIS working on before Sept'06 RD's but approved Nov'06 RD. Fentastic and un-justice to old filers.

Anyway Hearty congratulations to you. Have fun.
 
Congrats ECsquare. Do you any info on your name check? Was it cleared a long time ago? My dates are pretty close to yours, so we'll see if something turns up.
 
Acutally I posted a question here days ago regarding my Infopass questions but nobody seemed to know the answer. Let me re-state here so that you should not be nerveous next time you go for Infopass if you get the same answer from IO.

Last Friday (7/21) I went to local office. IO told me that my NC is cleared, but background is under investigation. She did not tell me when NC's result come out, nor explain to me what the difference between NC and background check.

My case status on line has never been updated. BTW, I did FP on Dec. 2006.

Hopefully this info may be helpful.

Btw, your approval letter and physical cards will be sent to the address they have in file - it will be the same address where you received your FP notice mail.
