RFE#1 - Issued 8/11. INS asked for Biographic Info, Employment letter, W2 for 97,98,99.
RFE#2 - Redo I140.
I140 RD - 10/18
I140 Approved on 11/28

I485 approved on 12/9. I did not check the AVM until 12/17 and was pleasantly surprised to hear the message. Received Courtesy copy in mail, yesterday. Waiting for main copy to go for stamping.

Company changes - Went thru three company changes within a short period of 6 months.

On a lighter note - now that it is over, I might go thru withdrawal symptoms! Goodluck to everybody else in waiting mode.

I will monitor this board until 12/31 in case anybody has questions.

Congratulations ..

Did the message changed when your I-140 redo filed ?

I filed my I-140 redo on last monday (12/11), and the message is still "On 12/8, a notice for r..f..e was sent out ..."

There was no change in the message after filing I-140 (around 10/18)- same message as you mention. However, the message changed to "On 11/22 we received info in response to the RFE ....". The redo I-140 got approved on 11/28. Not sure how to interpret this information.

Passport Stamped

Had my passport stamped last week - it was a breeze. Couple of interesting points though

1) The INS woman at the counter said it could take upto a year to receive the plastic card

2) In case of my son (8yrs old) they had him sign and index finger printed for form I-89! Thats a new one.

In all these years, we all know how arbitary INS is.
